The window "Locate FFmepg", is looking for the "libmp3lame.dylib" file and not the correct FFmpeg file "libavformat.52.dylib" file. The path shows /usr/local/lib/audacity/libmp3lame.dylib. In this window "Audacity needs the file 'libmp3lame.dylib' to import and export audio via FFmpeg. When I click on the FFmpeg Library "Locate" button the new window is titled "Locate FFmpeg. The next section down is the FFmpeg Import/Export Library. In this window "Audacity needs the file limp3lane.dylib: The path shows /usr/local/lib/audacity/limp3lame.dylib. If I Click on the MP3 Library: "Locate" button a new window pops open titled "Locate Lame". At the top is the MP3 Library Version:LAME 3.98.2. I go to the audacity preferences menu and scroll down and click on "Libraries". I ran the install program and all the files are in the "/usr/library/program support/audacity/" location. I did download the install file for FFmpeg. I downloaded a new version of Audacity and installed it. I did delete Audacity from the applications folder and also deleted the Audacity folder found in /usr/library/program support.
