The tedium of breeding has been almost outright removed, which is good, but making tera raid farming even less effective and less reliable in comparison (especially if you don't use Switch time exploits) just makes it one step forward and two steps back, given the massive blunder on how the game handles TMs now. Part of the fun of Pokemon for me is team building, and in this gen, tera form changing is a part of that. However, FIFTY SHARDS PER TERA FORM CHANGE IS INSANE. Also, tera raids aren't boring to do, especially in comparison to breeding or going through the shields of dynamax raids. I get it: Making people NEED the shards fuels a population to do raids with, which validates the feature.
